KDAV Announcements Crew
Our KDAV crew is made up of fourth grade students who are part of a “news” crew or a “tech” crew. These students help broadcast the announcements to the school each morning. They keep us informed about what is going on around David Elementary and help get the day started right! Third grade students have a chance to apply for a position on one of our KDAV crews at the end of the their third grade year.
Choir
Fourth grade students have the opportunity to participate in choir. Choir is held after school on Tuesdays or Thursdays until 3:45. The David Choir performs several times during the year at various school and district functions.
Destination Imagination (DI)
Second, third and fourth grade students have the opportunity to participate in Destination Imagination (DI). DI is a program that encourages critical thinking, problem solving, and teamwork. Students are part of a team that meets weekly. Teams compete annually at the district Destination Imagination Tournament.
