We are excited to share more about Destination Imagination (D.I.) with you at our virtual informational meeting on Friday, September 18th at 10:00 AM via Microsoft Teams. You can join the meeting using this link.

This meeting is geared mostly towards families who are new to DI, but everyone is welcome to attend. If you already have a team and team manager from a previous year, I will keep those teams together as we form this year’s groups. Please note that the only way to guarantee your child has a DI team is by having a team manager in place—either yourself or another parent volunteer.

Destination Imagination (DI) is an amazing and fun program that promotes creativity, problem-solving, team building, project planning, and much more! DI at David Elementary is open to 2nd-4th graders. David Elementary and CISD cover all team membership and tournament registration fees. Additionally, David provides classroom space for a limited number of teams to meet on-campus. DI requires a firm commitment and parent volunteer support.

If you are interested in being a team manager, please be sure to indicate that on the interest form that will be in our newsletter in the coming weeks. Conroe ISD also offers multiple team manager training opportunities throughout the year.
